Joppa House is a transitional home for women and children who find themselves homeless or facing homelessness. This transitional housing model is intended to empower, mentor and train women in learning the life skills necessary to permanently resolve the situation of finding themselves facing homelessness and sustain independent living. The home can house 15 women/children.

Joppa House is a Christ-centered home with a voluntary program for women who are homeless due to a lack of support, resources, and/or life skills. Many women are in need of coaching in the basic skills of life – child care, personal boundaries, cooking, basic housekeeping, job skills, scheduling, submitting to authority, work ethics, budgeting and finances.

The ladies and their children can stay in residency for 6 – 18 months. Our mission is to provide a safe, rehabilitative environment to empower, mentor and train women in the life skills they are lacking consequently providing a healthy environment in which to raise their children as they transition and sustain independent living.
